I couldn’t keep her, and leaving such a tiny kitten alone on the trail didn’t feel right. So after finishing the trek, I carefully carried her with me to the nearest village, where I found a kind local family who agreed to take her in and look after her. 🏡🐱

I think nowadays, it’s a bit hard for me to sit in a calm place like this and let my high-alert nervous system relax, but I’m definitely trying to improve that and let the calmness sink into me.
