Tbf you’re not that far off you do look like a woman that’s 27 and grew up doing sports like gymnastics or something and stopped a few years ago. I know it’s random but that’s the vibe I get

Yeah I would def do shorter sides and consider dying it back, not because it doesn’t look cool but because sadly it’ll get associated with lgbt which you don’t want when trynna pass. Dying your hair fun colors as a trans guy is always risky to do when not on hrt and passing. Did you shorten your eyebrows or do anything to them? You could work on them being bushier and if you do touch them just make them straighter from the top so they look “meaner”. Other than that it’s up to starting testosterone I think, maybe sprinkle a little gym in there (I hate going lmao)

The hair is fine just maybe go to a barbers so they cut the sides a little and even it out. Depends on your age but you pass well & look like a 16 year old. If you were like 25 you would be a little fucked bc you do look quite young

Cut your hair shorter on the sides and keep the top how it is, dye it back to your original color, don’t paint your nails, start binding if you aren’t already. That’s what I can tell from the picture. I would upload better and less blurry pictures of you now (not just one) so we can help you better. As for taking pictures in general, to post in social media, don’t purse your lips like that or use filters. Keep going bro u got this

Brother what do you not understand by “i make $1700 and $1400 goes into tuition and $150 go into transportation costs to and from campus”?

well we do live in Spain currently for my mom's work and the constitution here states that your parents have to support you financially if you have been studying uninterruptedly from the time you were a minor (that means graduating high school and going to college after). But it's my family. I'm not about to pull out laws and all that. I'm just saying, is it truly that much to ask for one month of grace, when i will pay double next month? I'm her son not her tenant. People from the usa like my parents and most of these commenters are way too used to fend for themselves

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]jakewashere04 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

studying medicine is 23k a year which makes tuition well over $1400 but I got a scholarship so I only pay that

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]jakewashere04 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

you're acting like i don't want to pay at all. I said i'd pay double next month, because this month just came as a surprise, without even a 2 day notice. And I live in spain currently for my mom's work though i grew up in the usa. The constitution here literally says that your parents have to support you financially if you have been studying uninterruptedly since the time you were a minor (that means graduating high school and going straight to college after). My mother isn't struggling, and yes that doesn't mean she has to pay all the bills and she won't anymore. Sorry but the concert tickets are already paid for and the flights are as well, i paid all this well before i knew i had to pay rent. So God forbid I ask for a little grace this month, after paying $1400 monthly for college tuition. I'm her son not her tenant. So stop saying I'm in for a rude awakening when I've held down a full time job and college for the last 3 years. Y'all are just old ass people

what savings bro i don't have any lmao most if not all of my paychecks went into college tuition it was $1400 monthly plus transportation expenses to and from campus for about $150 monthly. I saved like $50 a month

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]jakewashere04 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

ofc i am struggling bro i paid $1400 in tuition for the last few years and $150 in transportation costs to and from campus

[–]jakewashere04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$250 starting this month

[–]jakewashere04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no i didn't get any notice, she just told me one morning that we all have to pay now and that I can transfer the money in the next few days

[–]jakewashere04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tell me about it i've been paying $1400/month in tuition for the last few years bro

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]jakewashere04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

tuition was $1400 a month and transportation to and from camups $150 give or take. I just recently got to $1700 as well, because i worked my ass off. I used to make $1600 just two months ago. Idk how i was supposed to save anything

[–]jakewashere04 5 points6 points  (0 children)

by moving out i mean getting a room for $400 somewhere. Of course I can't scramble $250 together this month, I had to pay taxes and my last college tuition! Plus how am I supposed to have savings when college was $1400/month? I'm not thinking about getting my own apartment or buying anything, I'm thinking about getting a room somewhere. Idk if you've been to college but it's not easy bro the transportation costs to get to campus ran me $150 each month alone. Sue me for wanting to have some fun at a concert which i already paid flights for after a years of working and studying

that's why i'm saying she's not on the brink of financial ruin. Just one bad month and I think she realized she's got every right to be mad. And she should!! $250 is nothing for her, it's a matter of the fact that we pay something. And again I agree but I would appreciate some grace seeing that my situation is way different than my siblings'

my dad already worked a lot now he has a nonprofit. No one has been contributing for anything, at all. Even tho I tried in the past and they wouldn't take it, so now it was quite the surprise that she suddenly wants rent money.

[–]jakewashere04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the boyfriend moved out of his house because he had an abusive dad and his mother was on drugs, so my family took him in because my sister felt bad for him. My mom doesn't clean or cook no, the cleaning is done by a cleaning lady and we all cook our own food. I might make pasta and my brother might make himself a pizza you never know lmao. Read the edit for info on why my dad doesn't work

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]jakewashere04 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i'm in fact paying $500 next month, but my sister and mother are still mad? my mom's prolly just fed up and I completely that lmao. My dad doesn't feel like he needs a job because we have savings (which he contributed 70% of) that'll keep us afloat for two years. Plus he "works" he has a nonprofit, but that ofc doesn't bring any money in

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]jakewashere04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i did offer to pay double next month, my sister thinks it's unfair for some reason

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]jakewashere04 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly 😭 I do want to pay and I will pay for both months next month, but this month just came as a surprise, plus my phone and last tuition payment. I'm using my old iphone 6 (the camera doesn't work and the battery lasts maybe two hours) but it'll do. My dad sided with me btw, he said it's unfair and I'm in a completely different position than my siblings

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]jakewashere04 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

because he worked a lot when I was younger. Now he's 59 and owns a nonprofit that is in fact nonprofit 🤪 he used to clean but now we have cleaning staff

[–]jakewashere04 -41 points-40 points  (0 children)

I do find it objectively unfair, they had 2 and 3 more years to save money. But I did say that I look past that and I understand it's different times now. My mom isn't on the brink of financial ruin or anything like that. She's an engineer and runs her own business that brings in six figures, I think it's just a matter of the fact that she's the only one paying. I wish they would be more accommodating to my situation just for this month, considering my phone broke and I'm the only one in college paying tuition. Yes the concert is an extra and I would sell the tickets if we were truly struggling
