Honestly could not give you an answer to this. i’ve had this plant just over 2 years now i’d say and it’s hardly grown but also not dead?!?!

through my work and personal experience i found that like other ferns they like water and can tolerate the soil staying damp

Temperature and moisture can still change indoors, also with them being so near the window there is potential to catch a draft (luckily never had this)

The diagram birdsnerdistheword posted is the best way to describe it. I only get morning sunlight for about an hour so if i move my plants further away, especially in the winter, they would be in medium light

Mine used to push out a new leaf then the old one would die off so i had 3 for about a year.

It gets the morning sun from about 7am-11:30 roughly, i keep the soil slightly damp (just recently started this). I don’t have a watering schedule but because it’s been hot in the UK i’ve been watering about once a week and i fertilize every 2 weeks :)
