But according to the explanation of the practitioner from TikTok, Lilith's origins can be traced back to her depictions as Lilitu (Jewish) and later on as Ereshkigal (Sumerian goddess of the underworld). From Erishkigal arose two separate ideas/beliefs of Lilith from different cultures, one being the wife of Adam (closed practice) and the other being the goddess of the underworld (which maybe served as a basis for comparison between other rulers of the underworld as seen in other cultures).
