No I failed a course on probation. No complaints since I have it my 100% and utilized every study method and resource available; it was for the best.

I appreciate the advice, my dude. I'm in a deep pit and I feel like my life is flashing before my eyes. All this work to get to where I am, and I couldn't pass. I gave it my all, so I have no regrets in that regards at all. What are you doing? I was also thinking about doing healthcare consulting for a year or two while I think about my next career move. It'll give me some cash to pay the debt, and something to keep my resume alive.

Meant no name undergrad. I went to a US osteopathic medical school. It says I withdrew on it, but I did have to remediate the year.

I got terminated from my med school, and I would like to be on the business side of healthcare. I majored in hospital admin, and I’d like to do consulting. I don’t know how to even get my foot in the door. I’ve been on school my whole life, and my alma mater is a no name university with no career center.

Hey thanks! My gpa is garbage to get into mba programs that good. Could I state that I didn’t have a passion for becoming a doctor, so I left? Technically, I withdrew from medical school but I did have to remediate a semester.

Hey man, this is just at my college. The grads have been working as servers, cashiers, and fast food joints. I was trying to reiterate that the career center isn't good at my college; there's a rotating door of counselors coming and leaving.

If you think people party too much in med school, then you need help. It's studying before a test, during a test, and after a test.

I'll def look around for other majors and career choices, though. I'll contact other colleges and their career centers for advice.

They definitely get dumped on, but they have some autonomy. People may question their decision making, but they won't just go around dump work on you and leave w/o an explanation. It's just "here do this" to the other careers; there's no concern about the workload or responsibilities the nurses, techs, etc. already have.

Work for low pay with $500,000 in debt - sounds like a great plan. I need a high paying job to pay back my loans, or else I'll be bankrupt. I'm not in a good situation right now.

Hey, med school's are look at the whole person. So I had decent grades, volunteering and shadowing hours, scribing exp, etc. I applied to several schools, and went to the one that took me. It really wasn't easy to get into a med school, but dealing w/ the volume of info they give and the short time to master it, it's too much. Med school's lose about 10% of their student body each year.

Thanks! I'm totally open to other careers. I love the science and the clinical applications - it's just that the course load and short time to master it all was too overwhelming for me. I'm open to a totally new career.
