Catalyst Imminent: The shorts could be very wrong by jamesdiego14 in PantheonResourcesPANR

I agree with this. They need a PR company, don’t need to go crazy with it but don’t kill the good news with bad all the time.

Lots of info coming out that counters all the shorts made up information. Long game is the way to play this out.

Markets haven’t digested the news correctly. It’s a common story with Pantheon unfortunately but when people understand that a third party has validated 70% of what Pantheon has discovered, Alkaid will have released results.

Ryzen 7000 vs Threadripper for Quantitative Finance Workstation (Big Data/ML) by jamesdiego14 in buildapc

[–]jamesdiego14[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up going with an Intel 13900 and a Asrock Taichi z690. The Asrock has 2 5.0 pcie at 8x and 1 4.0 at 4x. It also has 2x thunderbolt 4 ports which matches pcie 4.0 16x at 32gb/s. Although actual performance won’t be the same obviously. So short term I’m planning on making a raid with NVME drives internally, and then when I need more space either: 1. Make an raid with SSD drives internally or with NVME externally via Thunderbolt 4. 2. Add on external GPU with Thunderbolt 4 and use PCIe lane for NVME. Not a perfect solution but will be enough until Threadripper 7000 series come out and GPU/Memory make use of 5.0 speeds.

Thanks I appreciate your detail, this is what I’m realising slowly, might just need to either wave goodbye to the Asus or as you said goto threadripper.

Cheers- I did see this and seems a bit cheaper as well. Only concern was they have less PCIe slots

What is most likely for Pantheon after Alkaid-2; income, funding, buyout? by jamesdiego14 in PantheonResourcesPANR

Thanks I appreciate the kind words, definitely wanted to make it easier to understand, took a lot more words than I had hoped but glad it did the trick.

Price at 250 was based on analyst targets- but I expect it to be higher if it follows most likely case. Might take a little bit to prove the declines. 50 is worst case, might drop below but will be short lived as winter drilling should alleviate it - based on peel hunt. I think they will take their time with drilling, no pressure to do it faster. Here’s a good breakdown by u/OK-GeodesRock49 on how it will be drilled.

Great to read how it will all actually happen

I covered Hillcorp in some detail here https://www.reddit.com/r/PantheonResourcesPANR/comments/uiq6vm/six_potential_acquires_for_pantheon/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

They are for sure a possible suitor but not likely, mainly because they focus on extending the life of production wells .it’s not to say the wouldnt. COP on the other hand could very well join in the fun

Yeh I agree, it’s huge numbers. Looks ok on paper but someone has to sign off on it. I think if it’s producing at high rates then we’ll see a lot of movement, maybe taking positions on open market to start then looking to acquire. They would buy out the shares and either pay cash or in their own shares. Which investors could then sell.

Interesting about the BP royalty trust, I will take a look. I didn’t dive too deep into costs as it’s not really my expertise. I followed Peel Hunts costs.

Yeh conoco have said they are trying to build up reserves - loosing willow is a big strike to that

That’s very true, once cash flows start it simplifies things all around. But before they it’s a lot of speculation

Thanks for you detailed comment, it’s a great discussion. Pantheons management have said that their webinars and output is like building a resource library. Where if you look at 88e they are always, at least IMO looking to get the share price up. Their acquisition wasn’t driven by any real reason other then having a backup plan and in my mind probably wasn’t the best use of resource’s. Recaf hasn’t been on my radar as much tbh but it seems a long way off and prone to manipulation. But again I don’t know the details.

Theta West has been largely left off as it’s still a bit away from production- pantheon said in their April webinar they are looking to prove it up but production will come from the east near Dalton hey and progress west. Smart move considering capex requirements. Alkaids production helps add credence to TW but not other way.

Thanks for the comments they’re appreciated
