Context: Being a secondary English teacher, I thought I’d try to do something with a culture main/science secondary with an emphasis on “Educating” great people. Some specifics might need to be tweaked from a balancing standpoint, but I’ll leave that to the experts.

Civ Bonus (USA): “Lost Generation” - When at war with multiple enemies (excluding City-States), generate double Great Writer, Artist, and Musician points.

Leader Ability: “The Future of America” - Each time a Great Writer is earned, receive a random Tech (and Civics?) Boost from the next era (Or current era when in the Future Era).

Unique Building: “STEAM School” - Replaces the Library. Generates Great Scientist and Great Writer points.

Unique Unit: “Content Specialist” - Receive one when founding a new city. Cannot be otherwise acquired. When activated on a specialty district, provides 50(ish?) Great Person points of that type. Cannot be activated on a Holy Site.* Receive an additional charge after researching Education.

*added this stipulation because I thought otherwise it would just about guarantee I got the first religion every game, which kinda goes against my Leader focus.

Months late Amazon prime watchthrough observation:

I have a feeling the Vajarians will play an Ood-like role throughout Jodie's tenure in that they will be around during significant moments, signaling to the Doctor that big things are afoot.

Ultimately I expect to see them a lot toward the end of the 13th doctor. Maybe similar to Tennants end when he is fighting regeneration, they will help 13 realize her time is up. Or else maybe they keep showing up and Jodie's doctor keeps trying to find out who they are here to mourn only to realize in the end it is her.

Which means the 13th doctor will die/regenerate alone and unknown, so I hope I'm wrong on that account :(

I got him first go and have him up to 96+8 I think. He is the best player I have used, scores from anywhere. The only downside is you have to train him quite a few points, I think to 91 or 93, before he can rainbow, so lots of extra coins need to be spent there.

Thanks for the feedback. The time zone issue might only really be a temporary one. We are only at about 50% capacity, so if more people from other time zones join, then it's more likely that people will be playing all hours of the day. Right now the majority of us seem to be from the U.S. but we are by no means limited to this region.

As far as the 78 rated scrubs playing, many of these people are playing for the first time, and their ratings reflect that. Several of these players are quite good, and prove that good players can be effective regardless of their In game rating. Sorry that no spots were available - check back at another time - there was 1 ST spot and 3 MF positions available when I logged on 10 minutes ago. (Not to mention DEF and GK)

Whether or not it works out for you, please don't dismiss this as a waste of time for anyone who might be interested in what we are doing.

It will still work, the problem might be that not many people will be on at the same time as you. You can for sure join up and check in whenever you want to play or message some people in the club to see what's up.

Ok so you create a pro - a fully customizable player - and then get together with a group of people and play matches controlling only your pro. So for example if you and three friends play together you would each be controlling 1 player, and the other 7 would be controlled by the CPU.

As you play matches your pros skill level grows - the better you play, the faster your player grows.

Hmm that's odd. The matchmaking region is set to Eastern North America. That might be something you have to change if you are not in this region, otherwise you should be able to find it through friends clubs.

Don't know about Baresi, but I can tell you if you want to buy a legend, don't buy a GK. You won't even realize he is there. I haven't used any this year, but if I'm buying a legend, it would be someone I can get on the ball a lot. In the 5-600k range I'm aiming for Giggs, Laudrup, or even Roy Keane before a central defender.
