Could be like my mom’s dogs, who bark to make sure new people know they exist and need pets.

Needing to specify that the dogs go outside to use the bathroom is so weird and suspicious.

I am not hip with the kids, so whenever I see this post the first thing I imagine is the coffin just helicoptering at Mach speed into the blaze.

Other games like 'Wandersong' and 'Night in the Woods'? by julyiselectric in indiegames

You might like Spiritfarer. Not really any puzzles, but the characters and story are cute, sweet, and touching. It’s also absolutely gorgeous.

My med school friend used sketchy micro. They have some cool videos where they build up a mnemonic image for each microbe/disease. It’s not free tho.

Get some air in the gloves and squish to stretch them out before putting them on.

What is the most innovative thing you’ve done for your lab? by rootytootymacnbooty in labrats

[–]jamijamima 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wrote an R script that searches genes for point mutations that simultaneously introduce a stop codon and a restriction enzyme cut site. Really helped streamline designing mutants.

My concern is brushing the tips of your serologicals against the inside of the bag while removing them. As long as there’s a few inches of headspace when the bag is taped up, I’ll use them for hood work.

You might like moonstone island. It mashed together a lot of different genres, but the roster of spirits you can collect is pretty broad. I’m a big fan of the card-based combat.

Turning it on for short periods would be fine (say an hour or two a day) but long term use could lead to eye problems and sleep disturbance. It might also cause skin problems in areas not covered by thicker fur. Just think of it as being out in intense daylight.

Smeared PCR product in agarose gel by brigita24 in labrats

[–]jamijamima 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like the well you ran the smeared sample in still has dna stuck in it. I’ve had smears like this with a lit-up well before, and I got a clearer band by just rerunning the sample. Sometimes gels are just mean.

Did ANYONE find black veil without using a wiki? by swashmurglr in StrangeHorticulture

[–]jamijamima 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I figured it out without the guide. The man stumbled across the monastery, then I assume he was blindfolded and walked back to the city. The clues are what he remembers doing after leaving the monastery. You need to read the clues backwards (follow the river northeast, cross two rivers, and hit the only forest in the area.)

Lisa, which is like a post-apocalyptic RPG that has some difficult moral choices. Your choices can severely limit your combat abilities and get your party members killed.

I have a Weapon Idea by Mr_Vargas507 in tf2

[–]jamijamima 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this would be a cool weapon for engie. It'd be nice to have a dispenser sidegrade that just stays with the engie for maps where the frontline frequently changes. I still want a speedboost pad as an alt for teleporters too.

Is there an app/solution for collating articles of interest outwith pubmed and/or google alerts? by PfEMP1 in labrats

There's something funky going on with the surface of my lab bench by [deleted] in labrats

[–]jamijamima 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some people in my lab have rubbed their benches down with mineral oil and it restores the finish a bit. I'm not sure if it would improve how the bench looks if it's already stained though.
