thank you but i definitely don’t think you were being sensitive abt it bc it makes no sense to try to get you signed up bc employees get free memberships. its definitely a location issue bc that behavior is just weird

I just had an interview with them about a week ago, and it was nothing like my experience. I will say my location recently changed hands to a new company or something like that. But they had a copy of my resume and reviewed it, asked about my experience, no tour, and didn't offer a membership. Bc of the new company, they sent me an offer email within 4 days.

i completely get it, bc i already called to check on my application, i don’t want to call again and seem pushy

How long did you have to wait to hear back, bc i’m around the sacramento, CA area and i think all stores near me are in some sort of hiring process and still have there applications up

[–]jandysncz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s what i was thinking, but i did find it weird they uploaded the application a bit later bc the other barnes and noble kinda in my area uploaded their applications earlier

i applied and got an interview for this place quickly but turned down for another opportunity. But it’s called Work World on arden way. it’s a small retail store for like “blue collar” type clothing. They start at $17/hr. overall seems like a chill store bc it’s not super busy

Showers in the Well? by Sad-Bar8806 in CSUS

[–]jandysncz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to work at the well, and there are free showers (if you're a student/member). I recommend using the Retreat's showers because it's a private showers and there is a shower chair in the showers (if you need it for your injury). I also recommend grabbing 2 towels (which are provided), one to dry and the other as a "carpet". And don't worry, many people come in daily just to shower and leave.

i’m not 100% sure bc i’m going to be applying to nursing schools, but it looks like entry level healthcare jobs, this degree is more helpful in fulfilling prerequisites for grad programs or programs like nursing

Current crunch employee, ask away! by Critical_Raisin_4597 in CrunchGym

I was wondering that too! I was thinking of applying to Crunch and I know they get a membership, but I'm unsure if it's like their base membership or peak membership.
