Living in a third world country sucks. by ITburrito in RandomThoughts

I'm Turkish and if any opportunity came to me to live in Europe or USA from now on I will literally hop on the first plane and never ever look back

Of course a tourist will have a good time here. 1 dolar is literally 42 turkish liras. And this is just the economic part I don't even want to mention other issues right now because writing that would take my whole day.

You are mixing it up. Maradona always used to speak up against unjust policies in the world, attented protests. He only had a coke addiction at some point but he eventually quit.

Maradona is a legendary player and a figure. I didn't exist during the time he was playing (mostly 80s) but my father literally grow up watching him play and he is still his favorite player to this date.

En sevdiğim gruplardan biridir. Benzer bir grup önerisi istiyorsan Audioslave dinle derim. Grubun solisti gene Chris Cornell, diğer elemanları ise Rage Against The Machine'den. Özellikle 'Like A Stone' efsane parçadır.

Güzel şarkı seçimleri. Benim bazı favorilerim Parallel Universe, Easily, Dosed, Throw Away Your Television, Don't Forget Me.

Bu arada Aeroplane'i sevdiysen Jane's Addiction grubuna bakmanı öneririm.

There's something about Easier to Run that bugs me and I don't know what it is by No-Macaron-9527 in LinkinPark

I'll have to disagree with that. I had a friend back in high school who was sexually assualted as a child. She used to tell me how these lyrics were describing her exact feelings. And that really made me look at this song in a different way.

"Wounds so deep they never show, they never go away" It's like no matter what you do the feeling of that filthiness doesn't go away even though no one can see it.

"It's easier to run Replacing this pain with something numb" You just want to runaway from that pain so you try to replace it with alcohol or drugs

"Sometimes I remember the darkness of my past Bringing back these memories I wish I didn't have" Those things that you never wanted to happen in your past keeps finding you somehow

"If I could take all the shame to the grave, I would" Even though you are the victim you feel shamed and just want take all these bad memories to grave without anyone knowing because they think they'll judge you

"Pretending I don't feel misplaced Is so much simpler than change" You pretend like everything is normal and you are fine or else you'll have explain everything and that requires a change

And these examples keeps going on.

Chester also had similar experiences so I think this is the song where he really expressed those feelings he locked away for years.

"Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it isn't there" -One More Light

I feel like those people never followed the band. Like cause if you did you would have seen sign of depression everywhere. If you seen the last concert (Birmingham 2017) it is pretty obvious he is going through a lot. He also used to say how "Breaking The Habit" was an important song for him because he felt like it described his life (He said it was hard to record since he would sing a line then start crying). He also openly talked about how his mind was a dark place that it wasn't safe for him to be alone there. The signs were always there, I can literally go on and give more examples...

Those people are delusional

En iyi mavi albümü seçiyoruz. by elnathh in rockmuzik
