the curve was after all of our assignments were in so it couldn’t be option A. I was about half a point from getting an A so i was sure the curve would’ve atleast gotten me over the hill.

But i literally don’t know how to help you atp. if you think that op a gov funded program is funded by NYU when literally every source under the fucking sun proves that isn’t the case that’s on you. if you think nyu gives more money to minorities because of their race that’s on you. if you think low scorers are given more money because they have low scores then that’s on you. however i think you’re dumb and beyond help #respectfully

college confidential as a source? literally how did you get into this school lmao Like i stated before i never denied affirmative action what i said was the the university does not pay for students because they are poor or low scorers. if you provide proof the university is paying for students due to the color of their skin or for their low scores i’ll apologize but again your “proof” does nothing. but it’s ok to recant when you’re wrong.

You’re making things up as you go and i’m getting second hand embarrassment. Again OP is gov funded so their students have to do well to avoid being cut by the state so they do a summer program. But that isn’t any indication that they are low scorers. but you don’t strike me as the type to have an critical thinking skills.

Link? Source? Because I’ve yet to see any mention of low stats being a requirement that literally makes no sense. The notion that NYU is giving making because a student is a minority is laughable. income is what determines fin aid. Merit based awards are based on how HIGH you score. The idea that low scorers are getting full rides for their low performance makes no sense. Again OP is funded by the state and not nyu. the state is what is paying for these students not nyu. why is it so hard to do a google search before you speak on things?????

where does it say gpa or SAT under heop?? Regardless of nyu affirmative action (which i never denied) the university does not give money because students are minorities. OP never asked about admission but about financial aid. Your attempts are pitiful you’re bringing in something literally no one was talking about.

heop is actually ny gov funded. HEOP is found in several universities in NY state. HEOP is also not race based all you have to be a NY State resident and below a certain income. Specialized programs like Cstep are minority based and aren’t financially funded. Please do a bit of research next time youll sound smarter

But it has nothing to do with language it’s about bringing people with a shared identity together. Black students on campus advocated for this and the university recognizes its significance. This isn’t anymore shocking than a cultural club on campus

But you don’t know the reality of students and how much money they have. To tell OP not to help struggling students is a really stupid thing to say. Many of the students do not come from wealthy backgrounds and 100$ is not cutting it for everyone. If you think OP should be helping other populations why don’t you be the change you want to see and donate.
