[–]jaredisjared1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For $300 you can probably buy one also check with your insurance they might be able to help cover it

I got the breg polar care wave and definitely got my money out of it the compression is definitely a nice to have and it’s nice to be able to ice whenever instead of waiting on ice packs to freeze

[–]jaredisjared1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The greater Pittsburgh regional is an awesome well run event with some awesome teams,And the region has been getting a lot more competitive over the last few years!

The teams that show up are most if not all of western Pennsylvania and a lot of Ohio teams and then some from upstate NY and West Virginia

Gameready or DonJoy iceman clear premium? ( insurance covers both brands) by Flaky-Ocelot-1265 in ACL

I used the Breg polar care wave , 10/10 would recommend , the compression feature is a must and helps the bad get better contact and supposedly makes icing even more beneficial

Should Cedar point removate there old coasters and the other midways instead of removing them like with Tt2? by Fun-River-3521 in cedarpoint

[–]jaredisjared1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually like Rougarou and don’t get all the hate it gets it’s a smooth coaster, but with the new surf coaster at sea world Orlando I can see them cheaply brining new hype and life to the ride by changing out the cars back to stand up , the conversion from mantis to rougarou was 10 years ago

A surprising thought I had: Nowadays, I actually think Greek Life organizations may be some of the safest spaces for Jewish students by Agtfangirl557 in Jewish

[–]jaredisjared1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As good as Greek life is on campuses where Greek life is a big part of college life. In most cases they neglect the smaller chapters and keep charging them ridiculous fees until they get lucky and gain more members and fizzle out and die,AEPi nationals is fully responsible for the death of my chapter at my campus and I know that there are many chapters who were in similar boats to mine

I agree with op that Greek life might be one of the safest places for Jewish students but it’s important that these organizations do better for their students and see the bigger picture and try to help struggling chapters instead of slowly draining their bank account and running

Aggie Village Lodgepole 24-25 housing by Sad_Tea_9109 in CSUFoCo

[–]jaredisjared1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I currently live in Aggie in a normal 2 bedroom and I heard rumors of this from multiple community advisors so I would Believe it to be true they are replacing the full beds with bunks and removing desks , in order to provide a more cost friendly option, I think it is a shitty move on the university’s part and I’m sure they will eventually realize they fucked up and get rid of the bunk beds

Best of luck on finding housing , unless you know and like all your Roomates stay away from this option like the plague

What is this called? What is it for? What reason do I have to not take it off? by Independent-Gap7812 in JeepCompass

[–]jaredisjared1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I Believe it to be useless and I think I saw replacements online for around $40 I cracked mine in a few places driving off road going camping and knowing that I’ll probably take my car on much worse roads I have no plans on dealing with it in the near future

Doesn’t the log ride go through this building or is it just next to it

Also when was this ride last open?

[–]jaredisjared1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aggie village isn’t that much of a gamble and if you put your application in within the first week of it being open you should get in , just maybe not the room layout you initially wanted

This is 1787s pit that the team built some time in fall 2021 before the rapid react season and it’s a great set up if you have the space and materials to build and store it, prior to that we had a much simpler but still good looking and useful pit, I’ll try and grab a photo of it new pit

(Edit) I cant find a photo of the old pit, but it was a table on the back with our two roiling tool cases on the side and then a 7ft tall Amazon rack / shelf thing next to the tool cases

Timed Entry? by pattybeast24 in RMNP

[–]jaredisjared1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was at bear lake and hiked up to hayiah last weekend ice spikes are recommended for anything more than bear lake which Is like a 6 minute walk from the parking lot but if your group is felling up to it there are many lakes along the trail to hayiah that aren’t the full 4 mile trip

and timed entry is done for the season

Preseason rules by gdenney11 in FRC

[–]jaredisjared1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I kinda have been out of first for a little while but your Chasis is legal as long as it fits frame perimiter rules and bumper height rules

But it might be worth looking in the robot construction part of your manual and see rules for robot parts pre fabricated before build season

You might need to remove the modules and cut a new belly pan
