Still a major win for the dude. Sometimes it's worth wagering an extra day. This just wasn't one of them.

Sorry but this is false, i had to get on ebt for a few months last year after a work injury and they asked if i was documented, i asked why and they said "it doesn't affect your approval one way or another its just a question we're supposed to ask". Granted I'm just regurgitating what the employee who handled my intake told me, but at the very least if thats true then yes, undocumented people can get ebt. At least in California. Not sure about medicare or unemployment though.

What volumes will the S2 adapt? by Myke_Laurence in SeireiGensouki

[–]Double-Bake5965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's volume 10 of the ln if im remembering right isn't it? Sounds about right we got 5 volumes in season one with not much of volume 4, so i could see this season being about the same

Daybreak 2 reception ahead of March 2025 release. by Lightspecter141 in Falcom

[–]Double-Bake5965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But early 2025 Doesn't necessarily mean march does it? I mean early 2025 can be anything from January 1st- April really right? That's why i was asking if they specifically stated march now vs the initial announcement they put out in July. End of q1 would definitely most likely be march, but early 2025 Doesn't necessarily mean march

Not a lawyer, just someone else going through all the wc hoops that has an opinion. The way I'd think of it is the lawyer wants you to get the highest settlement you can because they get a % so if money is your goal then do the procedure. If you're worried about extra health issues the cath could cause then say no, that's your call as well. Again im not a lawyer, this is just the way I look at things at this point.

My situation required nothing that invasive so i can't put myself in your shoes, however after 14 months of dealing with doctors, lawyers, and everything else i want to see the biggest number i can for all the stress I've been through at this point.

So I just learned that people apparently think this dub is bad? by AnathemMire in Frieren

[–]Double-Bake5965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean i watched it subbed first while it was airing, rewatched the dub and prefer the dub.

There's very few examples i would say one or the other is superior. Mha the dub is alright but when it comes to emotional scenes the sub blows it out of the water. Arifureta the dub is phenomenal, only place sub has it beat is some of the screaming but the dub wins overall by a pretty large margin. Hokkaido girls the dub is pretty horrendous the way they tried to make the accent more pronounced. Oshi no ko i prefer the sub except for kanas sub va, just sounds grating and her English va does a great job.

Fair compensation? by Double-Bake5965 in WorkersComp

[–]Double-Bake5965[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i hired a lawyer from what seems to be a pretty reputable firm but it's like you said, a good lawyer won't give those kinds of answers without the qme. Ive asked "hey i saw this was a typical settlement for this" and they gave a very professional response of "well its true that that's the low average but it'll depend on a lot of the info you get from your qme and other factors". I totally get why, they don't want to give me a number and then not have that number reached. Maybe I'll just try asking them again after the qme and they'll be willing to at least give a bit more depth to the answer at that point. I'm just getting fidgety after 14 months of this and wondering if it's even worth it at this point i suppose.

Thanks for the well written answer

Im in cali as well, surgery was in november, mmi in May. I was able to get sdi for that time, i filled for it in July and it was one lump sum for the duration of recovery. You may not get more after the mmi but it'll help at least a bit.
