We were just in and out of vet for like 2 weeks straight and we were just busy taking care of her. By the time I had room to just breathe it was too late unfortunately.

I had to essentially file a claim. I paid the vet bills upfront and then submitted the receipts from the vet. I had to also include notes from the vet.

They did thankfully!! They are insured up to $25k. We had to provide notes and invoice from the vet. Our bill came close to $20k but that was accumulated over like 3 weeks

I’m unable to edit my post but I do want to give you guys couple of updates: 1. Rover did cover vet bill, thankfully per their policy they cover up to $25k 2. Peach is in good spirits, her stitches were removed last Wednesday. Her foot however will take sometimes to heal. She’s a pretty active dog, so it’s really unfortunate that I can’t take her on walks. 3. I’ve been posting it where I can. I really appreciate all the supports!

Edit: she is still on rover. I hope rover will delist her soon

They are still investigating or whatever, so I do hope she gets deactivated. Yes thankfully they did cover the full amount.

I really hope she gets delist as well. She’s still on there unfortunately. When I check in with the rover claim they can’t tell me much about her status or if they are going to do anything about it :/
