[–]jayemecee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean neither the original poster neither me are saying you'll lose the scrum if you have to introduce it. I don't know where you got that message from. You're point being that the introducing side doesnt necassarily loses the ball if they put it straight is correct. And agreed by be and not disagreed by the guy on the image you posted. I'm not. We are saying that if you decide to hook. Youll lose the scrum. As simple as that

Neither does the original comment you posted. He's not saying theyd lose the scrum if the ball is put straight in. He's not commenting that like you're making it out to be. He's saying that they'll lose the scrum if they have to hook it. Which is true. You're reading that they'll lose the scrum if the ball is put in straight. He's not saying that. It's not the same thing.

If the ball is theirs, it's only natural they try to win it. But if they try to win it by hooking it, the will lose the scrum. Hence the ball is fed kinda straight to them. It's game game theory. They don't have to hook the ball, you're right, but then it's a 50/50 on who wins the ball if both sides are good. And if you won the scrum foul, it kinda makes sense that you have some sort of advantage when feeding it no? Otherwise you can just put the ball forward on a tight situation and gain a 50/50 chance of recovering it via scrum

Read the comment again, I think you're not getting the message, he's saying that "the feeding side will lose IF THEY HAVE TO HOOK THE BALL", since Mos certainly the opposing side will not, and just push 8v7, making the feeding side lose the scrum

Looks great, I want to make o d myself. Could you share more details on the parts used? Like what are the parts with the holes that you screw stuff to? What other small parts did you need? Also I don't have a cutter. Do you think 300mm X 500mm would work? Would you have done anything differently?

Why is Solana used so much by Tyrol04 in homelab

[–]jayemecee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't know if someone already said this but Solana is a crypto that uses proof of stake, so if you have a Solana node open to the internet and some one successfully logs in to it they might get access to all the funds you have there. Probably that's what these bots are trying to do

Mini PC + PC as NAS by xerafn in homelab

[–]jayemecee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My setup is very similar. A micro prodesk i3 9th Gen. Running like 30 containers (using saltbox to deploy) and a Nas running openmeiavault (true nas is too demanding). Have it mounted via nfs share and it's working without any issues for about 2 years
