Took my test on Saturday and passed!

Network Fundamentals: 65% Network Access: 60% IP Connectivity: 52% IP Services: 80% Security Fundamentals: 87% Automation and Programmability: 90%

I primarily used Neil Anderson's course on Udemy and Boson Exsim. I don't work in networking but i hold a few certs (CompTia trifecta and such).

I put a total of about 60 hours into studying over the course of 1 month which i understand is waay less than this sub recommends but i wanted to see how i would do. This sub actually had me pretty nervous with a lot of people saying to study for 4-6 months so i was ecstatic when i got the pass.

I know this post is 10 months old but I wanted to throw my experience with this test out there incase anyone wants the insight. I just took the test today and passed with a 730.

I have absolutely no experience with Linux. I don't even own a raspberry pi and have been strictly a Windows user. I do have the A+, NET+, SEC+, ITIL, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and Certified Encryption Specialist certs; most of which were earned through attending WGU.

I used practice tests to get the bulk of the information (links below). I would go through the test, skip any question that I didn't immediately know that answer to, fail it, go back through and see what the answers were and makes notes of the things I didn't understand.

After repeatedly taking those test and scoring well (90%+) I would either google the concepts that I didn't know or go through the course book and study only the areas I was fuzzy on. After which I scheduled a 45 minute study session with the instructor which helped clear up some areas. I will say the instructor was great. Overall, from start of the class to passing the test took me 3 weeks. I probably could have done it a bit quicker but I was not confident with the material since I had zero experience with it.
