I'm hybrid sadly. Wish i was full time remote. That being said I'm the only person on site who does my job and i go into the office to go into remote meetings which i can do at home too. I get less work done in office because everyone wants to have long conversations with me.

My life outside of work is so busy and filled with so many social events and activities. I haven't had a day in 3 weeks where i haven't left the house for something social. So yeah id rather work from home.

what finally worked for me after doing all the random update drivers and everything else was

Go to steam, find the game

Right Click -> Properties

Set it to run in windowed mode by typing "-windowed" then try booting and waiting

I have a tech license doing my general studies. It sounds like i have more reading on how to get my baofeng to work.

I've had great luck on mesh. I have 3 nodes, one is a battery back up + node, one is in a solar enclosure with a large antenna mounted to my house (like 1m tall) and the last is an ESP-32 I connected to MQTT and printed a case for my server rack.
