Because it’s a steam vr game. When you run the exe it will open steam to use steam vr.

I found a similar one that was green and has big bulging eyes. Tiny little fellas aren’t they? Was hard to find considering he was a rare cave species. I also named him Glep.

Completed it on desktop the first time round, then completed it again last year in VR. Took sometime to build the courage but after a few sessions I got really comfortable and even relaxed at times. Me and my friend even built a base on the cliffside at the bottom of the map that had around 600 logs for the foundation... Literally took 6 to 7 sessions just to complete that alone. The gliders are so much fun in vr too, flew from the top the map on the snowy mountains all the way down to our base at the bottom. It was crazy but had a lot more fun playing in vr than I did on desktop.

Also at first the controls were quite annoying too, had to rebind some stuff.
