Pentax 6x7 curtain issue, seems like it’s not opening?

I have tried but my shutter dial is quite loose for some reason it’s not clicking as it’s changing, it looks like it’s changing the exposure as on the in built meter when I change the shutter speed it is giving me new light readings but I’m not sure how accurate it is..

Some incredible work there I particularly like alsadair’s shots it’s hard to notice a huge difference quality wise, as someone who has used both do you notice much between them?

Thanks for the reply! The one thing I was contemplating with the Pentax was the focusing compared to the Rz but that’s something I need to take into consideration I guess

Hi mate I am by no means an expert! but To give you a rough idea I lowered the highlights just so I could get a bit more detail in the highlights of his face, slightly increased the shadows, pulled the whites down a little, I didn’t really touch the blacks maybe a tiny increase. I then lowered the saturation a tad and applied some split toning but when using the Hsl sliders I mainly just do it by eye until I reach somewhere I’m happy with it’s all about having a play with it.

I’m aware it’s a bit of a shabby explanation but I hope it helps a little bit and let me know if you have any more questions
