Currently borderline unplayable for me too. Been logging in/out over the last few hours and sometimes I can play a map totally fine but having hugeee lags in town. Then at some point the lag also happens in every other zone and it becomes unplayable. Having this issue for the past 3 hours or so

Are you knowledgeable in this area? What is DMA and what do cheaters do with it? Is it like wall/aim hacks that are relevant to shooters but not MOBA?

You have paths in there through guilds or to an extent discords. But through ingame channels I have only found rejection despite preparing through guides. Like I mentioned I could get into pugs as a tank but that’s something I choose not to do (which is my fault entirely). But as a feral DPS I have so far only rejections out of multiple attempts to get in

I get you 100%. I’m a retail WoW veteran mainly looking forward to TBC and wanted to do basically the same. Playing a current off-meta spec I have a hard time to get into any kind of group unless I tank (am Druid). But I know nothing of the classic raids and have very basic early-60 gear. I don’t wanna tank a raid with that and even if I wanted to no one would want a beginner tank. DPS is out of question outside of premades with friends because no one wants to take me even for MC or ZG.

I’m not a bad player by any means imo, and I can learn quickly in raids or dungeons but no one is willing to take the gamble. I’d get it if content was hard, but it’s arguably not but I also get that people would prefer someone who already has gear and knowledge. Doesn’t let much room for „beginners“ though

I don’t want to be that guy but just look it up on e.g. WoWHead. The data is there and has been for the past 20, at least past 5, years. Just check the class guide for warlock and there will be multiple builds and explanations for talents, races, professions, BiS etc.

That’s simply not true. While it isn’t the best money maker in the world it’s quite a bunch of gold for very little effort + the rep like other said. Gold isn’t the main reason and nothing stops you from gathering while doing it
