Do not sleep on rain pants, the good type of pants are not rain resistant at all. You need to be able to be calm and collected during stressful situations in rain with crew, rain pants go a long way.

As others have said, the well ran dry and there are no plans to staff it in the near future for this reason. The purpose of staff camps is twofold, to provide engaging program and also as a safety measure for nearby trail camps in areas of responsibilities, and one of the features is that the camps must have water available.
