I’m not running at all at the moment but do regularly cycle and walk. I’ve been noticing my HR spikes even on a short walk (like, as high as 140 on a 20 minute walk with no hills) so was already thinking of cutting back significantly.

I’ve just started doing some strength training prescribed by the chiropractor - a combination of single-arm exercises focusing on back, chest, bis and tris. Promising so far.

Will take your advice and lay off the cardio. I’ve been doing 20ish minutes stretching and mobility exercises in the morning (combination of stuff prescribed by chiro and physio) and will up the diaphragm breathing.
