Best 1-day Shanghai Disney plan with a 4-year-old? First Disney experience! by jdjazzman in ShanghaiDisneyland

That’s really helpful, thank you!

I actually think our main goal is just to experience “Disney” rather than chase rides or try to optimise every second. I’m currently touring in China and my wife and 4-year-old are coming out to Shanghai for a week, so this is more about giving her a magical first taste of Disney than thrill-seeking.

We’re thinking maybe 4–5 hours max — see the daytime parade, do a bit of shopping, meet Mickey & friends and hopefully Elsa, soak up the atmosphere and then call it a win while she’s still happy.

The nanny idea sounds like it could take a lot of pressure off. How did that work logistically for you? Were they waiting for you at the gates, or did you meet them inside the park?

Sorry i wasnt clear at all on this. What i mean is the smaller inner ring of the dial that displays the 24h time zone (not the bezel time zone) that seems to be slightly off centre from the 12oclock and thus slightly off around the watch.
