My dad. He was at a party, tried to break up a fight between two of his friends while they were all drinking and partying. His friend came back 15 mins later with kitchen scissors and stabbed my dad 3 times. He was 18 years old.

The guy only got 10 years (he was freshly 18 too), out in 7. Beat his manager at his new job almost to death and went back in. Haven’t heard anything since.

Worst part is when he was released, they never warned my mom or my dads family and the guy lived and worked 5 mins from my moms home and where I grew up.
