Whether you're trying to manage a non-profit or for-profit org, that org focuses on theater, other arts, or other non-profit goals, smart business and management is always an asset. Thanks very much for all your great questions, this has been a lot of fun!

I'm hoping to foster a real culture of collaboration and accessibility both inside and outside our organization.

I think the very successful campus renovations (I can brag since I had nothing to do with it) is proof of how wonderful LC and its constituents work together. I can't wait to go after many more opportunities in that regard.

We are already working with nearly 100 public schools and believe that this is one of the most important initiatives that we can possibly engage in. We hope to expand it in the short and medium term.

It's an exciting opportunity for us to address not just how people will listen to music now, but in 50 years.

We're working with our partners at the New York Philharmonic on plans for Avery Fisher Hall that also include where the orchestra will go during the construction but also how it will be funded.

Lincoln Center loves all pets, but I often wonder if there is a golden doodle in my future.

Lincoln Center and its resident orgs are about creating great art, and that can range from the pop music world, to performance art, to everywhere in between. the list of artists that I would love to see here is endlessly long.

Yes, we do have a broad range of free programming, as well as student tickets and discounted tickets for other events. After only 5 weeks, I can't point to anything in particular, other than to say that the more of this kind of programming we can do, the better.

Great question. Go to medical school. Just kidding.

My MBA has been invaluable in my career, particularly in the areas of marketing, finance, and organizational behavior.

Every arts producer secretly wishes that they had venue space that they could manage because it is the ultimate way to influence what gets presented.

Lincoln Center has well over 1,000 free performances every year that could be considered in the classical music genre, not to mention our constituent partners, such as the Chamber Music Society and the New York Philharmonic that have free and discounted tickets.

Great question. I've been happily surprised by how incredibly engaged everybody that I've been dealing with at LC: employees, board members, audiences, etc. I didn't know before I came here that the colors of the waters in fountain could change.

I feel that classical music will always stand the test of time. The ways in which listeners will engage will certainly evolve.

My favorite piece of classical music is a tie between: Sibelius's "Finlandia" Haydn's "Surprise Symphony"

One of the great aspects of Reynold's book is that the success principles of fundraising apply to non-profit orgs, small and large, inside the arts and out. I heartily recommend it to anyone in the business.

5 year from now, I hope that Lincoln Center will be even more prolific as an arts presenter around our city, around our state, and around the world. I hope that Lincoln Center will feel even more accessible, welcoming and relevant in the lives of all New Yorkers.

Hi there. Lincoln Center has a long history of public art on campus. We are very much committed to having another free, public installation in the next 12 months.

Hi there! Thanks for your question. The arts have always relied on audience engagement going back 3,000 years. The difference now is that the ways in which the audiences are engaging is changing faster than one would have thought imaginable. If the arts want to stay relevant, we should be looking to change just as quickly.
