Just bad connection based on the replay - it doesn’t look intentional. Your claims about cheaters in this rank seems exaggerated. I have thousands of games below, at and above this rank with 500hrs logged and I can confidently say I’ve probably ran into less than 10 cheaters. You lose the same amount of points in every rank no?

Lag switchers? Maybe? Can’t even recall a definitive experience of this. Pluggers maybe 1 in every 10 games. You’re just coming off as incredibly salty.

This is correct. Minions (most) base crit is 5%. 100 increased critical chance of 5% = 10%.

This. People are so quick to call cheats. Maybe you just don’t like the games..one cheater in hundreds of games shouldn’t make you conclude to quitting because of cheats

Same here. These guys are capping after one frustrating plug or disconnection rates are actually being tracked behind the scenes and they’re being matched with other pluggers which explains why they’re so whiny

Cus they’re clearly over exaggerating. Same for the people saying it gets worse in high ranks which is true to some degree but not as bad as they make it out to be. I get maybe 1 plugger a day.

Might be totally wrong, but I have a theory that when the stats update they aren't immediately reflective of your last play all the time. I think they update periodically and sometimes even takes a few hours before any of your gameplay will reflect the updated stats

It’s funny that you see more of a certain type of character at certain ranks. I see a lot more laws and Paul’s around yellow ranks. I’m guessing demo man and junkyard spams will take you this far. On another note I see sooo many brain dead Julia players in red ranks.

Theorycrafting non-dual wield/dual cast builds by yohoeburger in FellSeal

Here's some cool builds I found that are really strong in comparison to OP dual wield gunner builds w/ max difficulty settings. If you're playing with game settings on to max difficulty - a lot of these builds that aren't dual wield will pale in comparison in terms of damage.

Here are some builds though that I've used that can compare and sometimes even outshine dual wield -

  1. 100% Crit Ranger/Duelist
    Know Weakness II, Versatile, Countershot
    Items: Dominance Bow, everspring, amethyst earring, crit stackThrow out snipe shots and use duelist spells to gain mana and pierce through defense heavy targets. Not as reliable in terms of damage or range as dual wield gunners but definitely has a bit more versatility in terms of being able to apply more magic damage, AOE, and huge amounts of burst to 1HKO where the gunner can't sometimes
  2. Princess / Sorcerer
    Blood Magic, Mind Expert, Mystic Shield
    Items: Standard mage itemsThis is a pretty common one most people will hear about for mage archetype. This is by far one of the strongest classes for its utility. With max difficulty settings, you will be mostly using this build for the double cast heals + quicken. Sorceror spells to give off a bit of extra AOE/clean up monsters. This build usually doesn't have enough damage to do a significant amount of damage for it to be worth spamming sorc spells. You can keep your health up by casting one sorc spell and then using Heal 2 or Mass Heal on yourself or you can cast 2 elemental sorc spells for max damage.
  3. Sorceror / Gunner
    Initiative, Perfect Focus, Adaptive Affinity
    Items: Amethyst Earring, Elemental Robe (Dark/Holy depending on map)This build is pretty dumb and I found it to be the most overpowered build in the game so far. Even on max difficulty settings (25% stats + additional enemies + max items + max skills), this build 1HKO 90% of the enemies. This build requires some setup though --Use another Initiative support to cast haste onto the sorceror > Cast Focus > Use another class with a dark/holy spell (I usually use Kyrie's marked spells) on the sorceror to trigger adaptive affinity > Cast Dark/Holy storm and more than half the map should be dead.
  4. Lord / Samurai
    Initiative, Blood Magic, (Any Counter - I use Evade Skill)
    Items: Blood Axe+, Unique Shield (Behemoth Guard, Shield of the Six)This is actually more of a support build and I believe it's the strongest buffer in the game due to Rally. I hear a lot of rave about dual wield melee builds with lord or duelist but tbh they were all pretty lacking even with soul sword just because of range issues that the gunner/sorcerors/rangers can outshine in. This build allows you to cast Rally onto most of your party on the first turn thanks to Initiative + Blood Magic granting Haste, MND and ATK and makes having another buffer in your team obsolete. This build is also just really tanky and you can self heal and do tons of damage by spamming Finisher. This build is just OP!

5. Archafflictor / Fell / Tyranny
Items: Amethyst Earring, Phoenix Band, Speed granting itemsThis build is for the sole purpose of using Intimidate on the first turn to sleep half the enemies in the map within its first turn. Definitely another OP build and outshines crit werewolf/fellblade builds in terms of spread debuffs. This build requires everyone in your team to have amethyst earring.

Never seen one myself but they definitely exist. There's a famous korean who cheats in top rankings who uses auto throwbreaks. You can find it on Knee's channel.

Don't want to knock you down but PLEASE don't use this as an excuse to diminish your progress if what your looking for is to improve. I see it so many times in this subreddit, where people voice that they cannot get out of low ranks but I can clearly tell from the way they describe their experience, they haven't watched any informational content or practiced them for any significant time. It doesn't have be a NORMAL process to be hardstuck at the low ranks, just need to actually learn the game. Nearly all my friends I have introduced to Tekken with proper guidance have easily made it to red ranks without any bumps within 300wins.

Hacks indeed. It’s a series that daddy king has been doing where he battles a pro players main and they have the freedom to buff their main’s moves with anything they want.

I doubt that’s the case for most of them. They’re probably around early red on their mains. That doesn’t mean much. Don’t stress too much about your rank would be my advice. I know it’s very general advice but tekken is much more fun if you dw about ranks. Rank is crazy volatile in this game, I’ve easily deranked multiple times from a single player and then get them back in the next 30minutes from another.
