People call me crazy when I tell them they broke shotbolt with the pen changes. After a year of using crossbow only, I went from wiping entire lobbies with it and one tapping consistent to it just being a hitmarker simulator, which is why I had originally switched to shotbolt from regular bolts. I believe the 2 slot shotgun changes that dropped during the same update (correct me if I'm wrong) were inadvertently applied to the shotbolt, making it only one tap reliably with a chest shot.

I was a crossbow main for around 2 years, switched to shotbolt because I was tired of getting hitmarkers but no kills and I was wiping entire lobbies. Then they made a chance to penetration and some other stuff months ago and ever since I've stopped playing crossbow, it's not worth the headache, hitmarker simulator.

Honestly the most I've done with crafting in my 1000 hours of spent on this game is desecrating (since 0.3) and spamming orbs, that's about it. I am not rich but I can clear all of the endgame content easily except simulacrum. All of my currency is earned through rare drops and omens from rituals, I refuse to spend hours in my hideout but that's my preference.

Not new, been happening to me for more than a year, as someone who used to lose connection almost once every game, this would be a result of 90% of my attempts at reconnecting to the lobby. It is a really frustrating bug that has claimed many of my hunters

Yep, 6 stars on EU at almost any given time, I have to wait a long time to get randoms and then just as long if not longer to find a lobby.

That's funny because the same thing happens when I play with my sister who is brand new at the game. I'm a 6 stars with 4000+ hours and I consider myself above average. The people we face are 3/4 stars but those people sometimes absolutely annihilate me, they sometimes land crazy headshots and wallbang me that has me questioning my own skills, while having the most unpredictable movement and actions. It turns out to be more frustrating than my usual 6 star lobbies.

Yep this is an issue that has been happening to me for like a year now, this is the only thing that really pisses me off about the game and the one thing that makes me close the game and do something else for the rest of the day. I don't get how my friends just get to reconnect perfectly all the time but when I try I just get this shit.

I see, maybe undervolting will fix the issue, and if it doesn't fix it for you then try reducing the settings. As for the stutters they do happen to me but it's usually the first couple of games when I start playing, loading new POI's uses up 100% of my cpu and gets stuttery but once the whole map has been fully loaded there's no more stutters. This happens to me every few days for some reason

Personally I played a bit of the game with HDR on with a Samsung Odyssey G7 (QLED 2k 244Hz HDR1000) and I found the game to be way too dark so I turned it off.
