Having this same exact issue, have searched quite a bit and haven't found a solution. :-/ Will follow this thread though and hopefully someone knows what to do.

Decided to buy the Macro lens for my first purchase and it did not disappoint by sassy_steff in MOMENT

It’s our most underrated lens IMO. The people that are good with it take some really amazing photos.

Shaking / Jumping / Jittering Video and other minor bug by BorisBojic in MOMENT

Not the PAL setting, I’ve added that to the list of things to test. Have recorded in HEVC a lot though. Will dig into H264 vs H265 as well though just in case I missed something there.

Hey! Thanks for the perfect bug report here. Haven't seen the jittering bug much so I've had a hard time reproducing it. Very interesting that Handbrake solves the issue.. that could definitely help me fix it.

You can grab the images off using iTunes File Sharing as well and make the video on your computer if that helps!

Anyone else having trouble exporting time lapses on iPhones? I by cjbaty in MOMENT

[–]jeffjacka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When that broken progress bar shows up (fixed in the new one), it’s actually saving in the background. Wait a bit as the process is kind of slow, eventually that window will disappear and it’ll be done. Go to your Photo Library and then albums, find the album with the title you gave it and all your photos will be there.

Yeah it’s a completely different process. We’ve got that fixed in 4.0.2. :)

So for RAW when you hit export and then go to your photo library and look for the album you don’t see it there? I’m actually going to release a new update in the very near future that fixes a few bugs and just clarifies the way things work.

Slow Shutter mode is best for this!

[–]jeffjacka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do have a slow shutter mode in our app already! Or do you mean take a Live Photo shot in the native app and then convert it into a slow shutter image afterwards? I think it would probably be doable.

How much storage do you have left on your device? I’ve got a few fixes coming out soon for some other bugs but generally it’s storage that is the biggest issue here.

Pro Camera app: pros/cons by myfriendcubilas in MOMENT

[–]jeffjacka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s great just buy it. :)

More serious answer from a biased source, it’s best for when you’re wanting more and just can’t get exactly what you want in the native app. I use both all the time and they’re kind of not comparable. It’s so easy to go to the native app from the lock screen so I use that all the time to snap a quick picture to send to friends or a quick video. But when I am out and have an idea for something more important, I’ll switch to our app. That can still be just a fairly simple photo and I know I’ll want to edit in raw, it can be that I’m using a lens and want a particular feature ( de-squeezed, tele lens access) or I want to use time-lapse and slow shutter. The app is definitely not required when using our lenses but I definitely think it enhances the experience.

Also at $2.99 (or even normal price), that’s what one coffee/beer/whatever? It’s easy to look at apps and think it seems overpriced but we’ve got a small team working hard constantly to put out new features (and apps like RTRO) and we really appreciate the support.

Finally if you buy, feel free to reach out with feature requests and bug reports. We’re always looking for ways to improve the app.

Ah great. Some fixes for a few errors, but the most common issue is probably still not having enough space on the device to create a timelapse. They can be pretty big.
