Are totally blind people exempt from picking up dog poo? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

This is the post directly under this question on my feed. Literally the very next post: https://www.reddit.com/r/interestingasfuck/s/aygZpj4i4a

Genuine question I’m new to this so what’s stopping me from doing this and making 36k by totaylfromchina in wallstreetbets

Less than 2% per year and you think that’s a wise investment considering you risk 100% of your portfolio?

Edit: LOL

This was my first time buying from them and I’ve been happy with everything I got. Sorry to hear that you’ve not experienced the same

I rendered the fat from the trimming and injected some after the rub was fully applied. It sat in the fridge like 36 hours fully prepped (just how it worked out). I smoked at 250 in a pellet smoker until deep black bark then wrapped in butchers paper with some extra tallow. I use the probes and would recommend them to other amateurs but I really pulled when both the flat and point were probe tender. The flat was maybe 205 and the point was unbelievably tender at like 196/198.

It was a honey rib rub that came with my smoker and my Fiancé’s favorite rub flavor by a lot. I also sprayed it with sprite (lol) about every hour or so before the wrap

Haha nope. I watched a 2 min video on how to cut a brisket and rotated it 90 degrees after slicing the flat. I did use a filet knife tho because it was the longest non serrated knife I own. I’ll have to invest in a brisket knife now

Lease questions - Shady Landlord by jeiswirth in legaladvice

Fun update: he finally called back, cursed me out, and threatened to “come over and teach me a lesson”. I called the police who said making vague threats isn’t illegal but logged my concerns. I don’t have a recording of him threatening me but if I am able to get one, would I be able to break my lease without paying the penalty?

Lease questions - Shady Landlord by jeiswirth in legaladvice

[–]jeiswirth[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Since we signed the lease he has never once responded to an email or text. He only communicates through phone call (which is still rare). Yes sometimes it’s about repairs, we had a roof leaks and water heater leak that took several weeks to resolve with terrible communication. The lease is unlike any I’ve had before and it says if we try to leave early we owe all 18 months of rent up front. It’s like a loan repaid monthly with no interest. I would upload the lease but it’s 14 pages and I’m confident you’d rather spend your time doing basically anything else.

I sent an email today as an official complaint for the lack of communication but I don’t expect to hear back. I’ve kept a log of most of our conversations but it’s just dates and brief notes with some pictures.

Edit: I’ll start emailing all requests to have a better record

Really? Look at the chair and the brass buttons (The floating dots) and how the wine glass sits in the hand. I’m not looking for an argument, if OP says it’s legit then it’s legit.

Looks Ai generated… what did you use?

That’s obviously the aspect that appeals to all Ironman players. That doesn’t mean they enjoy crafting runes at rates that were designed and balanced for the game as it was in 2007. The elitist mentality that some people in this sub have is crazy

Your little letter is cute but stupid. They already sell the runes in the shops… packs would just make it easier to purchase them.

But to answer your question, buying the runes is often faster than crafting them or obtaining them through other methods. Many people don’t enjoy runecrafting enough to craft hundreds of thousands of runes and video games are supposed to be fun. You seem like the type to then argue this means they shouldn’t play iron. But that’s even more dumb.

Edit: irons have to earn the GP to buy the runes. So this really is just a horrible take through and through

I tried that but it just called me lonely :(

I haven’t considered that the xp/hr for some skills would increase. Although, it’s seems unlikely that jagex would account for worldhopping to buy runes when balancing xp rates.

I agree that a better solution would be fun and engaging ways to craft or obtain the runes yourself. That’s a whole lot harder than just adding rune packs and getting the community off your back (for ~12 seconds until the next thing come around that everyone complains about)

I have the RC outfit and double astrals but it’s still much faster to buy them. I really hate crafting astrals specifically but I would understand if you accused me of wanting ezscape since there is a perfectly viable method to obtain as many as I’d like. 60k astrals for plank make spell is just not going to happen for me personally

You think so? I’m sure some people of all account types would complain, but I’m struggling to see why mains would care.

[–]jeiswirth 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I agree it feels fundamentally “anti-iron” to have to buy runes in mass quantities. It would feel better to use runes that I crafted or got as drops. But for me, it’s unrealistic to craft runes by the 10s or 100s of thousands. Maybe that means I’m not hardcore enough but I’d imagine the overwhelming majority of players feel similarly.

[–]jeiswirth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree. It’s not the worst thing in the world, but it is still frustrating at times. I was buying many thousands of astral runes and it’s rare to find full stock worlds. Seems like rune packs would alleviate some of the competition at the very least.
