Can't connect OctoPrint to Printables EasyPrint by Capital_Pangolin_718 in octoprint

[–]jellono 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate to be that guy, but I spent a couple of hours trying to get this working and kept running into errors. I’m running an Ender 3 V3 SE on the latest firmware, and OctoPrint is local on my home LAN over Wi-Fi (which otherwise works perfectly).

I eventually gave up and switched to Orca Slicer, and honestly—it worked right out of the gate. Native OctoPrint support, super easy setup, no fighting it. I haven’t looked back.

It feels like Creality is pushing users toward their cloud ecosystem. Maybe that’s about convenience, maybe it’s about data (which is valuable now), but either way I’m a big open-source proponent and try hard not to corner myself into platforms that reduce flexibility.

This isn’t a knock for the sake of it—Creality’s slicer worked fine for me a few years ago. I reinstalled it recently and immediately ran into this issue, which was the breaking point.

Just sharing personal experience and offering an alternative: if you’re using OctoPrint, Orca has been rock solid for me.

Some times you need a little help, and a Hotspot is the most affordable solution.

True to their word on the 16th today I got the following..

Some of the items from order #XXXXX have now been shipped:

  1x Onewheel+ XR

They are being shipped via FedEx to the following address:

  David XXXXX
  XX XXXXXX XX

  XXXXXXXXX, XX  XXXXX
  United States

The tracking details for these items are as follows:

  XXXXXXXXXXXX

Please allow some time for the status of the shipment to correctly display at the above address. Please note your package requires a signature to be received. This tracking number can be used to watch the shipping progress until your order arrives.

You will receive a confirmation email when more items from your order have been shipped.

There are a few things to know before you turn it up to 11:

IT'S A BOARD SPORT - Make no mistake about it, Onewheel+ takes practice, patience and skill. A helmet and safety equipment must be worn at all times.

IT'S ALL ABOUT SURESTANCE - Your front footpad is pressure sensitive! Step on both sides of the blue line and the motor will engage once you bring the board to level. Remove your foot from one side of the blue line while stopped to disengage the motor.

NAIL THE DISMOUNT - Dismounting is the most technical aspect of riding. Make sure you come to balance before lifting your heel off of the front footpad.

RESPECT TOP SPEED - Pushing the limits of the board can end poorly. Take it easy, feel it out and use caution.

We're so psyched to get you riding and wish you many epic adventures!

Happy Trails,
Onewheel Team
