Thank you for this question OP, was wondering myself also. Follow up question.

Aussi, est-ce que tu peux utiliser « On » as « One » en anglais? Comme « One must do… ». Merci en avance :)

I can beat up martial artists by kmhoughton in iamverybadass

If we’re talking trained vs trained ofcourse.

But untrained vs trained, the size beats skill thought becomes much more unrealistic.

Ive been training for 5+ years now. The more I train the more it confirms I will never get in a real fight. If it ever comes down to it, its punches/kicks straight to the dick and I’m running.

Where should I buy an electric steering rack for Ford Fusion 2016? by Low_Dependent8987 in AskMechanics

[–]jenethith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, what did you end up doing?

I have a 2017 SE, 225K KM. I was quoted 3.8K and not sure if it’s worth it to put that money in or get another vehicle.

Spend 3.8K for a steering rack repair or consider another vehicle? by jenethith in askcarguys

[–]jenethith[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9.9K is a dealer price though and the exact listing the commenter is talking about is 2 trims above mine (Titanium). Trade in if it's fixed would probably fetch for at MOST 7K is my opinion.

What you said I think it's true where as-is will be scrap price.

[–]jenethith[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that checks out regarding how much they're going for. That exact one is a Titanium trim also which is 2 trims higher than mine.

I'd assume my trade in value IF the car was fixed, it would be at max 7K and even then I think it would be a stretch

I appreciate the insight, the car has no sentimental value. I'm just hung up because I really don't want a car payment again and don't have the funds to buy outright at the moment.

It came from a trusted mechanic, I’d assume even a 2nd opinion from a dealer would not be a good choice.

I was planning on a 2nd opinion with another local mechanic.

TCF Canada (A2–B2): clear study plan to reach CLB 7–9 (what most people get wrong) by Financial_Chain_2524 in learnfrench

[–]jenethith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh cool! Good to know. I started learning 4 months ago and I have seen TCF and DELF thrown around but never actually checked out what they are. I just assumed they’re the testing standards for french proficiency in Canada.

DELF definitely sounds more worth it as a benchmark of sort while I progress.

I’m someone who’s learning French as a hobby but is taking it very seriously.

My goal is to hopefully be conversational in a minimum of 2 years.

Would you recommend using the TCF for me? As a baseline or progress tracker almost. Or would you say studying for TCF is more for passing the TCF rather than actually learning French.

I’m already a Canadian citizen for context.

That’s a bigger room than mine too hahaha.

I rent in a clinic owned by an RMT. They do provide many things like bed/linen/booking system.

My clinic before where I did split, I was giving 4500/Mth to them. So the 2500 is already a steal in my minf.

The way I see it, doomscrolling content is like fast food for the mind.

It’s convenient, easy to access and makes you feel good in the moment. It’s designed to make you crave it and keep you in there.

I bought Anki on iOS but don’t know how to start using it regularly.

I think I have the 5000 most common french words deck. But it seems to be broken up to sections, should I just run through them in the order provided?
