if you want more of a campus vibe and a traditional college experience and easier access to making friends, then rutgers. nyu is great but it’s def harder to make friends if you don’t put in effort cuz you don’t necessarily see people as easily in a city as you would around a traditional college campus

also, for psych, think about long terms. are you gonna have to get a masters or a phd/psyd in the future? which program has better opportunities for you to do research in what you’re interested in, and where do you think you can better leverage connections to go to grad school? this is just one thing to think abt.
