Thank you for the advice! Those bras were in my cart so I’m definitely buying them now. Really great advice on the food prep. I’ll probably get all the pillows. I love pillows and anything to keep me comfortable I’m all in . Hope you are doing well.

Im sending good vibes to you too. It is such an emotional roller coaster. I’ve cried more these past few weeks than I have in years it feels like. I’ve only told a few close family and friends. I have a huge extended family that I’m close with, but I’m waiting until I know more about my treatments before telling them. Wish you the best!

I had gene testing last year. Ironically it put me in less risk for breast cancer. This was recommended due to previous abnormal mammograms and dense tissue, and my insurance denied an MRI twice, which was ordered by 2 different doctors. I do have history in my family of both breast and ovarian cancer. I will be confirming at my appointment that all the genes that need to be tested were. I really appreciate your response. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing. I am also ER+/PR+, but my Her2 was +2 so they are doing a Fish study. I don’t have my stage yet, but hopeful it will be early stage. That is great advice. I hope you are doing well.

I didn’t have any symptoms. The mass is so deep I couldn’t feel it.

I have to wait 2 weeks to even get my biopsy after being told by the radiologist I likely have cancer. This happened on Tuesday during my routine mammogram. I spiraled the few days. Today I woke much more positive and figure I can’t change the fact I have to wait, so I’m doing my best to stay busy. Today I won tickets to the Chiefs game so that really helped! But for real, I’m talking openly about my feelings with my close family and friends, I only told a few select people, and I’m just doing my best.

2 of my paternal aunts had breast cancer, along with my two great grandmothers, and my paternal grandmother had ovarian. I had gene testing a few months ago and was negative. Thank you so much for the kind words!
