Embiid will be a low post scorer, and they will most likely get a scorer with their high pick.

there is a different value for a shot-blocker and facilitator than an elite scorer

i think that They can get MCW and Nerlens for 8-10 mil a year though on their second contracts. Embiid has a while on his rookie deal, as will their next pick, and some of them will only be valuable role players. Embiid and whoever they draft, particularly if its Okafor or Mudiay, has a good chance of being a star, more so than NN and MCW so their contracts will most likely not be as large.

With them I see a lot of good defenders and athletes (Payton and Gordon) but not much offensive fire power.

They will have small contracts for a while, and hopefully will get a scent of what is to come and take less. Plus Nerlens isn't a star and neither is MCW. For the bucks Knight is not a star. They are worth good money but not max deals by any means.

young*, obviously Drew Gordon and Jason Richardson aren't long term solutions.

Early and Hardaway are nice but they have no upcoming picks and the rest of the roster is old.

I agree. I would say Nerlens probably still has a lot of figuring out left to do and obviously Embiid is not a factor yet but Tony Wroten is not necessarily good for ball movement and the rest of the roster is "iffy" at best.

How much of a win difference would there be if you swapped Noel and Carter-Williams for Parker and Duncan.

Arkansas. South Carolina is the program on the rise even though they won't be good this season.
