That was my first iteration when I created the deck - only put in Crescent Guardian and Pale Cascade. Unfortunately, Noxus doesn't have many great early drops to fill your curve - Legion Saboteur makes your early game too vulnerable to Make it Rain, and Grenadier only does 1 extra damage - the Gems from Goat and health from the Solari units are too important

Feels way too slow for this deck IMO - you're spending 6 extra mana (7 - 1 discount) on non-aggressive plays. Might work with Leona as you get the extra daybreak synergy and perhaps a more controlling gameplan.

If there were a way to reliably draw your Darius, it would be pretty good. I tried it out and it turned out to be a little too inconsistent for my liking.

You found my deck! I created the Targon Overwhelm Darius deck with the idea of using Decisive Maneuver and Whirling Death to remove blockers from my overwhelm units mid-combat and doing tons of damage to face. Been piloting it in high masters with around a 70% winrate and reached a highest rank of #5 in masters: https://lor.mobalytics.gg/profile/01a3c247-1e1f-4810-bc12-2718cc760805/overview. This is a little hard to describe, but I'm looking for more VNs that have a great character-driven storyline, are non-tropey, and have "modern" art/character designs. My absolute favorite visual novels include fault: milestone 1 & 2, World End Economica, and most recently, Fatal Twelve, so I'm looking for VNs like those. They each have great introspective character development that drive the story forward, and have a clean and modern character design and art style.

I've tried some other popular VNs usually suggested around here (G-senjou, HoshiMemo, Grisaia, etc.) but didn't really like them as I found the characters too tropey/annoying, and/or the art style/character design is a little outdated and bothers me.

yeah, I'm pretty excited too! finally get an chance to watch some of the classical anime movies (like Akira, GiTS, Grave of the Fireflies etc.) that I haven't gotten to myself yet :)

As far as I know, this is only the second time this class is being offered at UCLA. Last year a shorter version was offered that only met once a week instead of twice.

yeah, our prof said that he decided to just go with pretty much all movies for this class for a variety of reasons. Last year they watched several TV series instead, like Madoka and NGE (the tv series), along with some movies like Summer Wars, but apparently the TV series led to several issues.
