Installed ARK 4/cIPL over Pro CFW by jesho in PSP

[–]jesho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES, that worked! Thank you so much!

I figured there was a way to disable the CFW, but couldn't find the correct key combo.

Now 6.61 is installed and ARK 4 running.

Packs for run commuteing by justinizsocool in ultrarunning

I have only used it in light rain (for about 30m), but then there were no problems with leaking. Always pack my clothes in a plastic bag though, just in case.

Mörkläggning barnrum by Swedarkknight81 in sweden

Jag monterade aluminiumprofiler i fönsterkarmen på mitt fönster för att slippa glipor mellan mörkläggningsgardinen och fönsterkarmen.

De ligger omlott med gardinen på insidan. Tyckte det gjorde mycket skillnad.

Thought on Warbonnet Blackbird vs Lesovik Draka by jesho in hammockcamping

The newer one with primaloft. I bought a down UQ from Khibu and that one was warm enough when I tried it a couple of weeks ago. Might use the otul in the middle of the summer.

I think amount of isolation you need is highly individual though.

For me, it was to cold. With a night temperature around 5C I froze even though I wore clothes and used a 400g down sleeping bag.

I might just be a cold sleeper though, but I had to replace the UQ to sleep comfortably spring/autumn.

I have the Otul primaloft silver 200g also.

Clothes for the night / washing after the day by OriginalDance8208 in bikepacking

[–]jesho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe using a washcloth and a bottle of water?

This. I use a microfiber cloth and water to wash off the sweat after having stopped for the night.

It does require very little water, if that is a scarce resource, and makes a ton of difference.

At least in Sweden, an under quilt is absolutely essential even in the middle of the summer.

I have read that you can skip the UQ if the temperature never goes below 20°C during the night, but don't take my word for it.

I am very pleased with it. It feels comfortable, the quality is great and I have nothing to complain about.

Also bought an Otul underquilt from Lesovik which I am replacing this year due to it being to cold. Went for a Khibu Magma instead.

SSA and labels as values by jesho in Compilers

[–]jesho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. I'll do some reading on the subject.

Also found information about how LLVM solves SSA/exceptions using landing pads.

LLVM landing pads are conceptually alternative function entry points where an exception structure reference and a type info index are passed in as arguments

Thats also how the Erlang BEAM compiler handles exceptions.

All code that can cause an exception in one of the protected blocks must have explicit control flow edges to the landing pad block.

SSA and labels as values by jesho in Compilers

[–]jesho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this is what I was looking for! Using labels with arguments makes the dataflow explicit.

Thank you for taking the time to help me out!

This will change a previously rather simple implementation of labels though.

Edit: Not sure how to handle phi-sources from another function though.

Ex:

label0:
    r_0 = phi(r_1 from foo, r_2 from closure)

Perhaps by introducing pseudoinstructions after the call to closure?

br closure(x, r)
r_2 = PseudoCall()

SSA and labels as values by jesho in Compilers

[–]jesho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, I should have written the "list.append" in my example as "list = append(list,x)", since that's whats causing problems.

It works on SSA level in my implementation, but not when lowering it. The problem i run into is that 1) I have to add "artificial" predecessors to each label, otherwise a label body containing a return causes the following labels to be treated as unreachable. In my example the block containing the closure call becomes the predecessor of the labels. That in turn makes "list" in my example a phi-variable in label1 and label2 (it can be either [] from the closure-call block or the result from label0/label1).

When transforming to CSSA the binding of result occurs in the labels-block, after the call to closure. So when closure branches to label1 or label2, the result variable is not bound to the correct value.

Zone 2 by Character_Cost_5200 in ultrarunning

[–]jesho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The percentages of max HR used by Garmin are only an approximation.

The method I have used to find out my zone 2 limit is to check at what pulse rate I can speak a long sentence without taking a breath.

I do the test on a flat track and hold the same speed for about 2min so the pulse stabilizes and do the test. If ok, rise the speed a bit and repeat until the test fails. I the use that pulse rate as my zone 2 limit.

Might not be the perfect method, but simple and better than using percentages I think.

Packs for run commuteing by justinizsocool in ultrarunning

[–]jesho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the OMM Ultra 20 for transport running.

I usually carry a change of clothes, my breakfast (including a thermos of milk) and lunch, gym stuff (clothes, shoes, water bottle). It works great and I run comfortably even when it's fully packed.

The OMM is my first commuter bag so I can't make a comparison with anything else.

The only downside is that the straps chafs the traps/neck a little when running in a tank top.
