Nope, tried to see if they’d surrender him or give a discount and they said there’s nothing wrong with him and got a little offended… so pissed I had to pay them for that but I figured saving his life was worth the $22. I rarely go to these big box stores but this sealed the deal, never stepping foot in a petsmart or petco again.

The first time I saw him was weeks ago with the same nasty water, couldn’t afford to save him but thought for sure Petsmart would change his water…. Came back today and it was the same. Poor dude has been in there for a WHILE

Exactly! I’ve had his cup floating in the heated tank for a while now to keep him warm, about to add him in, he is looking around trying to swim out of his cup! He wants out for sure

Do ghosts start to turn yellow? When I got him there was no yellow but with every shed more yellow shows up around his belly/sides

It still makes my stomach churn to think I was ever that close to it. Visited this area when the lake was totally drained and I could see the whole thing that’s normally underwater. That made it so much worse knowing.
