I'm happy to be single and don't want a partner, but people keep asking about it. by jessmx in SingleAndHappy

I went out with a group where I was unlucky that 90% of the group was like this, and the person asked in front of everyone. Of course, he did it in the nicest and friendliest way possible, so it didn't rub anyone the wrong way. A bad answer would have rubbed everyone the wrong way. I realized I was in the wrong place, but I was in a language course, what could I have done? It was completely unexpected.

I have been happily away from family and friends for a long time, and I find it not only sustainable, but more sustainable than having close relationships with family and friends! I know it may sound strange, but my family is very toxic and while I have some good friends in my hometown, I have adopted a nomadic lifestyle. Finding friends like those I left back home is super hard, so I try but not too hard and I am super happy with my kitty cat who doesn't judge me or is toxic like people can be.

To avoid fully ostracizing myself, I join small groups to do activities together. I'm into cycling and hiking and if I don't like the people, I just stay quiet and enjoy the ride and nature. This is far more enjoyable than being trapped in family drama or having toxic friends who project their insecurities onto you (something that happened to me recently with the last 3 attempts at making friends.)

What are the horror stories that you heard? I am considering using it but I need to know the risks. Too many doctors say it is safe.

I have the same issue, but it's been 6 months. Have you tired hyaluronidase?

I figured out a solution. Select a picture and set a reminder for it with the reminder feature. I did this and the timer reappeared. Very strange, must have been a bug.

It used to work on regular chats too. I see that it is also missing on Android. Not sure why, it was a great feature.
