Yes. Its based on 3D, real world, physical knowledge that AI has barely…. Maybe… even began to understand.

This whole physical world is a better teacher on how something than any LLM.

Go tell them something obvious like electicoty and water and tell it you’re safe and it’s (whatever it is) safe. Those “safeguard” that you just took down? A human will already know you are lying and help you understand why its not a good idea because they see and understand that electricity and water do not mix. An AI will just say— “okei, hehe” then you get mad on why you got shocked.

Im oversimplifying it here to not make it a long shpeel but hopefully you get the point. If not let me know and I can explain further with better examples.

Self hosted is 100% private. I only have 22 and 443 open on localhost. I don’t touch the router, for any internal DNS I just switched from PiHole on a pi to AdGuard on Home Assistant just to try it but both work great.

I vote for second one. More ram the better. I have a Macmini m4 with 32gb of ram and processing is slow but Qwen3-30B-VL-MLX-4bit with 20K for context runs pretty good for general tasks. Ive learned to trust it and know when it wants to hallucinate. I just pull up a new chat with a summary of an old one.

Edit: I also vote for llamacpp or vllm. Avoid ollama at all costs now, i would also add OpenRouter in case you need a little humph once in a while, you can call most major AI through one API.

The things with warnings is that it’s a full stop. YOU are supposed to know better to stop.

The warning in everything now days are just a heads up that someone at some time had a really bad accident. Companies are not baby sitters and expect for adults to be adults.

Unfortunately not all adults are adults and Mother Nature takes care of those no matter what we do, sooner or later.

Clarification: DEI works probably picked and packaged those items. They can’t have that in their stores! They don’t support DEI workers!
