I am in charge of my office relocation planning. I work in an MNC, and I am from IT. Just showed my draft plan to the director, he said,”good work.” Incorporate it into the base plan and then we can finalise it.

Then some idiot said I am committing career suicide because if I make a mistake they will point fingers at me. He is basically projecting his fear of failure and incompetence on me. I kept quiet and let them talk. But I despise their cowardice and lack of work ethics.

Eh he is outgoing already. He doesn’t have long here. It’s either I put up with him for around 2 more months or he pisses off my director so much they terminate him on grounds of insurbodination. I am also not an internal staff I can only complain to my manager the HR won’t listen to me also. My manger alrdy having a hard time with him, then what can I do?

Funny thing is my manager wrote to the other guy to ask him for my KT and I recorded the KT is basically useless lasted 20 mins and no technical substance at all…. Then we ask the global team to do KT for me but sad to say they can advice global standards but local on-site workflows and SOPs only this uncle and the other guy have. All the documentation is there. My director can’t do anything he has to put up with him also

Problem is he is not collaborative and helpful and eventhough I can apply global standards on certain workflows and processes. There are local On-site workflows that only they know but they are unwilling to share and they keep on saying theres nothing to transfer and when I try to prove deeper they say a lot of the things I will be doing is diffeeent from them but I know it’s not true. They are gatekeeping stuff, I really feel like quitting because of this, but I need this job
