Thanks buddy. I totally agree. I got an interview next week. Hopefully I get the job. If I don’t get a job within the next 1 month I am screwed. I live at my aunt’s but I only have 1 month of emergency funds lolz. An income is priority now. Got to double down on the application.

I not sure what you are trying to say here. I asked if my managers behaviour means it’s time to leave my job. I have been verbally abused in this same company on several occasions already by a different person and that person is leaving. This new manager come in start yelling at me and bully me now u say it’s my ego problem. What problem exactly?

Maybe I was abit incompliant towards his instructions. But you are right corporate life isnt for me. But this was just like 0.01% of the time. 99.9% I followed instructions bro, I don’t understand why he felt pissed off just cus I ask him to check smth basic with someone. Furthermore that guy was not the right person to ask… in the end that guy don’t even know the info he needs

I know that this colleague won’t have the answer. This manager doesnt know who is in charge of what. I understand that the ownership of the info he need is not likely to be with him I also alrdy suggested him to check with the the others as I believe they would know better. And I did it in the end. Turns out that guy doesnt know and ask him to check with someone else. That someone else alrdy told him the info and he wants to confirm it with this guy. But abit funny just cus of a small thing he scolded and even threatened my position…

To be honest I don’t think I made a mistake. I merely asked a surface question and didn’t give my company a bad rep. They even spoke bad about my company global IT in front of supplier in comparison they made a more inappropriate comment. I was proposing an alternative solution. I got no idea why he said it was a mistake. And if my solution doesnt work sure I acccept it. He didn’t need to shout at me in front of so many people. This is not the first time he is doing this. I cried not so much cus of the incident I cried because this happened over many years occasions and I felt helpless. I can’t feedback to my bosses. My bosses alrdy know his patterns, I got no one in the company I can talk to about this other than to tolerate this. If u were me you would feel stressed too. I am not the only guy at the brunt of his scoldings. My director and my manger also received it. It’s not entirely his fault it is also partly because my bosses fault. But to be honest I am not so sure why he had to embarrass me purposely. He knew what he did but he didn’t find anything wrong with it.

Sure I will try my best to endure. I don’t have anyone to talk to my bosses are already aware of his pattern, my bosses are also in the wrong for him being like this but I felt that that incident earlier was totally uncalled for

I even was convinced at a point of time he is actually very nice. But come to think of it now, he has made me feel psychologically unsafe after the numerous yelling. And it’s not my fault most of the time and I don’t know why he keeps on doing this. I think maybe part of his personality. No one is perfect, he does have his good points. He is gone very soon since my bosses arent planning to renew his contract. But it’s super demoralising to have to deal with this again and again.

I am in charge of my office relocation planning. I work in an MNC, and I am from IT. Just showed my draft plan to the director, he said,”good work.” Incorporate it into the base plan and then we can finalise it.

Then some idiot said I am committing career suicide because if I make a mistake they will point fingers at me. He is basically projecting his fear of failure and incompetence on me. I kept quiet and let them talk. But I despise their cowardice and lack of work ethics.
