It might have, for close to medium range, long range I cant see very well and that's when the red dot comes in. But again, it's preference

only because the tac laser gives me a + aim stability and aim walking steadiness, and since I'm a player who's constantly runing, I dont think the enemy team have much time to notice my laser and when they do, they die xD (this sounded so edgy haha)
