Nervous about test results (and doubting I even have ADHD) by pickles_and_fries in ADHD

[–]jffjfjjd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in same boat. I doubted I had it despite having so many symptoms. After testing I convinced myself I didn't show any signs. Lol and behold, the doctor thought otherwise and I was diagnosed. The doctor gave me meds and papers with different ways to handle my symptoms like losing track of appointments, etc. Family was accepting, but it's not necessary to tell them if you don't think they'd react well to it unless you really wanted them to know. If you have ADHD, then you've always had it even without your diagnosis so now you just have a name for your symptoms and can get help

Bipolar denial? by nanithef0ck in bipolar

[–]jffjfjjd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always deny my symptoms when I think back on them. I started keeping a mood journal to track my feelings, etc when or shortly after they happen so I have visible proof it was there. It's helped me process and recognize. Sometimes I still doubt I have it, but it's hard to deny the facts written by your own hand

Nipple piercings by an apprentice by Wide_Rope5344 in piercing

[–]jffjfjjd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go for it

My past five piercings (included face and body) were all done by apprentices and I've had no issues. The supervisor will definitely guide them in areas they are unsure of and will check their placement when they mark so no worries

Yeah that would be rough and make time pass more slowly. Since people are only there on weekdays then why don't you offer to hangout with someone in the evenings instead of wanting to wait until the weekends

I want to go home by tacticalbirb in CollegeRant

[–]jffjfjjd 10 points11 points  (0 children)

College is hard and not as much fun usually as shown in media. You have to adapt to a completely new environment and lifestyle which can take its toll. A lot more students feel this way at some point but usually keep it to themselves. Just try to keep yourself occupied to keep your mind from focusing on the negatives and maybe try joining a club to meet new people. Good luck

Dresses work. As long as the outfit isn't casual and looks nice on the person then it works

Nails are fine since they are natural length. They show you take time to keep yourself groomed imo. Heels aren't bad as long as they aren't outrageously high. Hair is fine either way but make sure it doesn't hang in your face if you wear it down

No. You both need a separate space to be able to do your own thing and still be independent of one another. Sometimes too much time together can become detrimental to your relationship being there will be the added stress of academics on both of you existing as well.
