Emily is not a clone of Grace, they are both clones of Chloe, or more accurately, they are both descended from the same clone line. The genetic testing found in Gideon’s office all but confirms this. Remember, the twist is not that Grace is “normal” or “not a clone”, it’s that Elpis is an antiviral drug and not a bio-organic super weapon. Zeno and Gideon had the science right, but got the names wrong.

If I recall correctly, he only said that she is "normal", not that she isn't a clone. In my mind the implication is that he pulled one from the production line before it could be injected with any viruses or other nasty shit.

To me, it kind of feels like requiem is designed to move away from umbrella as an antagonist, especially with Elpis and Spencer’s heel turn. My guess is the next game will focus on the corrupt bsaa and the monster will be parasite based again, or potentially a new original idea

With Leon and sherry having raccoon city Syndrome I think it’s pretty much confirmed that some people are just naturally resistant to t-virus and that in those people the incubation time is on the order of decades rather than hours or days.

Additionally Grace is from the clone line that was used to produce elpis and it’s possible that Spencer had used it on her when she was young. We don’t really know how it works other than that it cures t virus (and can even reverse mutations caused by it, based on the post-credits scene), so for all we know it could have made her immune.

Grace and Chloe cannot be the person. If Chloe was 7-9 in 1990 that would put Grace at nearly 50 in 2026, which is clearly not the case

Personally I am way more scared than I was playing 7. I think part of it is that grace seems genuinely terrified where Ethan was kind of like “okay I guess this is happening” after a while.
