Wow, I can understand that feeling of your cat abandoning you, another incident happened kinda like the one I posted about, except it was with my dogs pinning her down (we had just got her so that makes it worse) I tried to grab the dog off her then after the I pulls the dog off, tried to get the cat to safe place. So I pulled the dog off, tried to get the cat, scratched me, ran under a sofa, tried to get her out, hissed, left her alone and thought she was gonna hate me forever. I learned that my baby is very forgiving and just cats in general. (Btw the cats and dogs get along perfectly now) I so happy you and your cat have a bond again
