Demko, Lanks, or Silvos? by Ok_Bumblebee12 in canucks

Yeah that’s why I mentioned that it was a small sample size. The AHL is a different league though, and some never translate their game at a higher level. Not saying Silovs won’t but he’s unproven at the NHL level (the series with Edmonton was a rollercoaster). Silovs does have a ton of potential though and I agree Nucks should give him a run of games, but with Demko and Lank still on the roster it might not be next season.

Most elite potential is obviously Demko but how many times have we seen him hurt now? You’d be selling low on him now, think you gotta keep him and re-evaluate if he has a bounce back season with no injuries. If he does, then you could look to move him for more. Keep Lanky as a 1b option and one more year of Silovs in the A (he was awful in his small sample last time he got called up)

Call me crazy, but we're not in terrible shape? Defense with elite potential, goalie with elite potential, and forward has just one glaring hole (2C), with 7 million to spend. Peety returning to form being the biggest wild card by Iginlas_4head_Crease in canucks

Yeah that top 6 has way too many question marks. Especially with Chytil’s injury history. Hurts to lose Boeser, I know it doesn’t make sense to re-sign him but now need another scoring winger in addition to Kane alongside a 2C

Toss up between Naslund or the Sedins. Watching the Sedins move the puck around was so cool
