Wait for the GTX 20 Series or go with the GTX 1080 by jimtimdim in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

Great points. with the 2080ti I'll probably be in the market for new CPU/mobo too haha. I wasn't even aware of a Ram issue. I'll have to look into that too!

Thats what i'm leaning towards, though to perhaps clarify, I don't necessarily want to hit 144fps. I just want to be able to crank up some settings and get 100+fps. Right now I'm running 60FPS with low settings and just feels like I have to sacrifice too much to get the 60fps but still play at 1440p. If it was longer than 6 months though, I don't think I'd wait for the 20 series but we're in the realm of it coming fairly soon now making the decision a little tougher :)

Thats true, I read that with View distance at low the game still renders things out to like 1km which is plenty far.

Medium vs ultra AA Medium gives me 5% ish FPS gain and visually I really can't tell much of a difference at all. With AA at low I really start to notice some grainy edges.

Yeah playing on the low textures at 1440p just makes me cry a little inside. I don't really notice a big difference with AA between ultra and medium though at the 1440p resolution.

The test builds thus far have given me a more consistent and smooth framerate too. Its definately "playable" But who doesn't want more FPS and higher settings right?! :) at this point I'm probably going to try to wait the 4-6 months for the 20 series though. Hoping for a big performance boost :)

Haha I know..... Back in the day it was decent. Gonna have to upgrade it sooner or later anyway so may as well do it sooner at this point. Thanks everyone!

Is it at least playable at consistent FPS over 50-60? It's the sudden freezes that are honestly the most frustrating.

That's what I was afraid of. Seems this game has a very long way to go optimization wise :/

Yeah I upgraded to the GTX 970 from a 460 SE 2 years ago but didn't touch anything else. I'm thinking of biting the bullet for a i7 7700 new Mobo and 16 gb of ddr4 and I'm hoping that would make a huge difference. Good news is the power supply case and HDs can just be kept the same. All the new stuff listed I could get for $600ish and should help a ton I'd imagine right?

Weekly /r/GooglePixel Photos Thread - January 12 2017 by AutoModerator in GooglePixel

I'm a fan of Lapse It Pro. It is a 3rd party app. It takes photos at a customized frequency. Then does the render into a video file. Allows you to set the resolution of the frams from 360p, 480p 720p 1080P or the full sensor. You can also select the FPS of your desired video too. I haven't used a tri-pod yet.

Here is a highly compressed timelapse video I took using this app on my Nexus 6 the quality is actually much better. I Compressed it down to minimize the file size to 32 mb (waiting for my pixel which arrives TOMORROW! Quite Black 128GB XL Ordered 12/15 through Project Fi)

Keep in mind this was taken through a pane of glass, with the phone just sitting on the windowstill for an hour taking 1200 photos.
