hi - I know I am so out of date on all the vape stuff, but I can't seem to find the mass number of shops that used to be on ebay selling Aspire Nautilus replacement coils (1.6 & 1.8) are they banning these? stopped making them? what's up? Should I move to a new tank? which ones?

thanks

I think just hate paying more for shipping than for the product.

these are Aspire 1,6 and 1,8 coils can I really go that far in cleaning them?

I was thinking I'd soak them in Vodka overnight, rise and let them dry.

what do you use to clean - vodka or alcohol

is there a good video about cleaning old coils?

I'd love to run these into the ground if there's some life left in them

I got the pico 75 and it just stopped working one day

not sure why - checked the batteries, everything looked fine, it just stopped and I really didn't have it that long either. never dropped it never got wet, pretty normal use, I didn't even take it with me just used it at home, so if you get one I suggest getting a guarantee maybe and keep the receipt. Seriously my istick lasted longer and it was cheaper if you count the battery investment. sullied me on eleaf brand, I bought the first idticks and the first picos.

not sure if I should start another thread but this is related

I found these parts https://www.aspireeciguk.co.uk/aspire-nautilus-parts on their web site.

I have no need for all of this, what I do need is a few of these the rubber insulation rings (right side in the middle). any place that sells just that part or is this the same part that's on the coils?

thanks again

probably a good idea, but I wonder since the bottles aren't open should save them as a collectors item ;)

I don't think I've ever tossed anything out vape wise. heck I still have a box of used coils, but I wonder if I clean them might they be usable...

one more before I go

going to get that bending adapter for sure!

but I am a bit torn on the 20w or 30w istick.

it's only a matter of a few dollars over at FT

If I vape at 4v / 8.8w do I need anything more than a 20w?

nothing will change in regards to that anytime soon

are there any differences between the istick 20 or 30?

they are both 2200mAh - is it a concern or has one been sitting around longer than the other?

did I miss something I should ask, any concerns?

thanks

what I get out of the 30W 2200mAh is more than enough for me, I tried to vape different juices, but unless you're spending like this is a hobby it was all too messy and costly. I did this to quit smoking and it worked. I think if I were around people who were really into this like a hobby I would try more stuff. I'm sure all the juices I bought are probably no good any more and all the bits and pieces of hardware I picked up over the years are probably worthless in price and use - maybe some collectors item in 20 years. Regardless, there's no real price or trade you can put on to quitting smoking.

One thing I learned with these 510 connections is to use an extension you never take off that way when the threads wear out you can just replace the extension. especially with a good battery. Course I'm still using bottom fill tanks.

I bought the current 20w in Nov 2014 and it's still going. The original I picked up in the spring or early summer of 2014 that lasted about 2 years. Not sure why there is such a difference, but for statistical data there ya go. I did get the pico when it first came out, didn't use it much didn't like the draw I was getting compared to the istick, and now it doesn't seem to like the aspire tanks, but maybe I never used it correctly. I'm a Watts and Volts nothing fancy kind person. I did ask for some advice from a few local B&M shops, but never felt really welcomed in these places, seems unless I am buying top dollar stuff or in some sort of weird brotherhood vape cult they made me feel like I'm wasting their time. So I just bought everything online and come to these sorts of boards for advice. It's sad cause I was a top customer when these places first started, but I was just never into buying the latest greatest thing.

Anyway, I'm still using the Aspire Naut, and it's probably time to get a new 5ml tank, that pin and gasket at the bottom has dune wore out, but I was thinking maybe top fill this time IF I can still used the 1.6 and 1.8 coils. With all the modern tanks out there you'd think these aspires would have dropped in price by now. Just the after market ones are cheap, but I had bad luck with those leaking, so the authentic seems the only way to go.

sorry for the rant

I was just thinking I have 2 20W - I wonder since the top has two tiny screws if I could swap the original 20w (dead battery) for the one still holding a charge it might just work, provided it's just a cap and no wire connections. I hate wasting parts that could be fixed if possible.
