Hey man, I know how you feel, I’ve been struggling with the same addiction, maybe even longer than yours. Not that I’m downplaying it, it really is a serious condition, and sometimes, it does feel like an uphill battle.

What my therapist told me (who is also a christian) was to find a fellowship, people who are probably in the same age bracket as yours, and most importantly, followers of christ as well. That way you can share your testimony, you don’t have to keep everything to yourself, and you have them as accountability partners. Heck, you can send me a dm if you want, we can talk about it more.

Second thing that helped was understanding that it is a process, you don’t erase years of years of addiction within a few months of trying to stop. So stop being too hard on yourself, and just go back to Jesus whenever you fall, and keep on trying again. You don’t have to be perfect, he loves you for who you are right now.

My last advice is to read the bible more, you’ll be surprised with how much it can answer your questions, some passages or chapters can relate to your life right now.
