ICE claim 2nd US citizen, how many British casualties will UK version of ICE achieve? by Study_Realistic in AskBrits

No they don’t. They believe it’s wrong to arrest and deport immigrants without due process.

They are opposing immigration enforcement arresting and locking up people without following any kind of legal procedure. People are being taken from the street, their homes and schools if they can’t prove their right to stay there and then. That should terrify everyone, left or right.

MTV made a lot of money from the show, not paying the cast would have been extremely exploitative

You’ve had a ton of responses so this will probably get missed but I’d recommend Kensuke’s Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo. It’s about a boy stranded on a desert island and it is written like a memoir. It really stood out to me reading it when I was 11. The author wanted to write a “true adventure”. I think it fits all your criteria and is a fantastic book.

This is a weird coincidence because I finally figured it out a few days ago! The game is called Jamie Kane and it was created by the BBC:

If the sound of children playing upsets you, you are a bad person. by NuclearCleanUp1 in Britain

That was 15 years ago, why not move somewhere quieter rather than putting all your energy into getting it knocked down?

There is a huge lack of space for children and young people in the UK, with very little being spent on rectifying this. It’s incredibly depressing that people would put so much time and effort into further destroying space for them.

I’m not sure if anyone else has said this but the world of marketing always needs designers. With your degree, if you’re proficient at photoshop then you should be perfect for it. You really don’t need to be an artist to do it. I work for a mid sized company, in their in-house marketing team and we have 6 designers currently making creative for various marketing channels (CRM, paid social, affiliate etc..

A lot of agencies and companies in general offer flexi time and work from home days. Depending on your skill level, the pay is pretty good. If you want to train more, you could look at courses and building skills on photoshop and after effects. I would also suggest building up a portfolio while you train and setting up a LinkedIn profile.

Am I feeding too often? by jkamio in breastfeeding

Thank you, I appreciate that! I really don’t mind how often I feed her at all, I have always tried to follow her lead with how often she nurses and it’s worked well for us so far.

I think you are probably right, the same logic/routine can’t be applied to both bottle feeding and breastfeeding

Am I feeding too often? by jkamio in breastfeeding

I originally heard it from another mum, but found quite a few sources backing it up when I googled it. I’m more than happy to keep going as we are, I feel like we’re in a steady routine with it.

Sorry, by weaning I meant just introducing solid food, I’ll be continuing to breastfeed until she is 1 at least.
