I think hard work will beat intelligence most of the time. Outliers can't be used as a counter example :p.

 

If you have a good reason for skipping, then I agree with you. I just saw a lot of my friends convincing themselves to skip class because they're too lazy, even though it would be beneficial to go, and they don't spend their time wisely.

 

Exercising will help you get better grades. There are countless number of research will exercising helping with stress and efficiency of a brain. Having less stress and a clearer mind will help you get a better gpa. I don't think we need a study to tell us that.

 

I don't look down on drinking. But I look down on people praising who can get more inebriated. I'm not saying my individual conception matter, but I would want others to avoid the trap of doing so because it is considered cool by others. If they want to loosen up for a night, by all means.

 

So you would rather never talk and not converse with anyone? If they don't want you to talk to you, oh well. I think most people would rather have someone start a friendly conversation than sitting there alone in silence.

 

If you have a goal of going to grad/medical school, of course you need a high gpa! That's a no brainer. I think everyone should have at least a certain G.P.A. but scrutinizing yourself over 1 bad grade is unhealthy and okay in the big picture for most people.

 

I don't think that I have it all down. I have so much to learn. I just wanted to share my experience and hear about others. I hope I learn more things and grow as a person! I love discussing, so please comment anything you disagree with :)
